I absolutely love Lauren Blakey’s Christmas books and this one did not disappoint. Christmas is my favorite time of the year so I am an absolutely sucker for a good Christmas rom-com!!

In this you have Eloise who is our FMC and she is a “Jolly” who loves absolutely everything about Christmas. Then you Noah who is our MMC Noah who is definitely a Grinch and thinks that Christmas is just a marketing tool that stores have come up with and absolutely does not like to celebrate in anyway.
Eloise has just recently started her own PR firm and is wanting to earn the town as client since their current PR person is leaving. Noah is a veterinarian that has just has just recently found out that his grandpa wants to retire to Florida and wants to leave the farm to hai cousin but he decides to throw his hat in the ring because has so many memories there and the farm means so much to him. Eloise and Noah decide to team up for the Mr. Holiday contest so she can show the mayor what she can do with her PR ideas and Noah can show his Grandma that he is determined and that he has Christmas spirit and that is cousin is up to something slimy and should not inherit the farm.
The banter and tension between Eloise and Noah was absolutely amazing. Also them working together and Eloise’s antics literally had my laughing out loud and kicking my feet. I also enjoyed that we did get character growth not just from Noah but also Eloise. This was such a fun quick holiday romance!!
