Medievally Blonde was a better title and I'll stand by that

I had so much fun listening to the audiobook of this! I received a free review copy from the publisher and was SO EXCITED to read it, then only made it about 5% in before setting it aside to wait for the audiobook to come out. There are a lot of names in the beginning with a lot of accent markers that I don't typically come across and I was bouncing off of it hard. I'm so glad I grabbed the audio, though, because I flew through that in a day.

I knew this was inspired by Legally Blonde, but what I didn't realize was how closely it followed the plotline of the movie. To the point where I could go "oh, this is this scene in the movie". Don't get me wrong, I love the movie and I had a great time with this! I was just hoping that it wasn't such a direct retelling.

It was a lot of fun and I did have a good time reading it! I was just hoping for something more than what it ended up being. I think if you go into this either completely unfamiliar with Legally Blonde or with the expectation of how much the plot mirrors the movie, you're going to have a great time. If you like princesses with swords, a casually queer cast, and books that are a lot of fun.
