The Starlight Saviour by Tatum Jayme is a perfect Fantasy book with hints of Romance, it has some difficult subject matters which may affect a reader but I do not think the story is heavily based around those and the story itself is a heartwarming story of found family and finding your own path in the world and learning who you truly are.
The book follows the life of Saige a young female who is struggling with truly being herself in the mortal world because she does not fit in, she doesn't truly know why she doesn't fit in because her parents did not train or explain her powers to her.
The book looks at magical corruption and how it kills the land and it's difficult to heal. The story is a story of personal growth, love, relationships, family and found family.
From the first page I was hooked by Tatum's World & Character Building, without her descriptions and story building I just wouldn't want to pick the book up again but it shows how much dedication and work went into the story with how well the story followed throughout the pages.
The story had a fast pace and it didn't feel like there were any filler chapters, every chapter had a reason and it showed with the characters and the story.
I was not expecting some parts of the story to turn out the way it did and I did not expect to hate a certain Character after finding out what she decided to do and who she decided to create a pact with.
I do not want to go into many details about the book and the plot because I think you really need to enjoy the book yourself to get the full experience but all I have to finally say is this book was a definite 5/5 for me and is one of the best fantasy books I have read this year.
