A Curse of Bonded Blades gave me a fantasy world full of fae, stolen magic, dangerous secrets and mysterious swords, but Tinsley and Tripp were what I loved most about this book.

Tinsley is a human tracker who gets pulled into a dangerous fae mystery after magic begins disappearing in ways that should not be possible. She is stubborn, capable and says exactly what she thinks. Tripp is protective, secretive and carrying far more than he admits. I really liked their dynamic together, from their teasing and arguments to the quieter moments when they begin trusting each other.

I will say that Tripp made me mad more than once. There were moments when I wanted to reach into the book and smack him, but that also made their relationship feel more real to me. Things were not simple between them and I liked seeing how they kept finding their way back to each other while everything around them became more complicated.

I also enjoyed the fantasy side of the story. Traveling through fae territory, learning more about the stolen magic and seeing the role of the two swords grow made the adventure feel bigger as the story went on. The ending leaves important questions behind, but I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see what happens next for Tinsley and Tripp
