He's mentally unstable and heaven help you if you look at him wrong or even breathe wrong in his general direction. You will not be walking away from him. He is the most sadistic man you will find. He's going to take what he wants from who he wants. He doesn't care when or where he is and he has no apologies about it.
Arlo, my gosh she is our mouthy, fiesty girl. She's full of spit and fire and she will not back down and cower to any man, besides Priest. For him she trembles under. Not without a fight though. She does not back down and she will make him fight to the very end.
Can she soften his cold black heart and bring his icy blue eyes back or will his demons keep him on lock down forever as the soulless monster he was made to be?
When the author has to give you a warning before you start this book you know there is no playing around that this MMC is as pitch black as they come. The triggers are there for a reason. I did really enjoy this book and I chose this book when I decided I needed a dark read, and dark is what I got. This book had me questioning my moral compass in a few places but I had to push through. I had to know what was going to happen. This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns and emotions and make sure you are ready to ride it. Is it worth it?? 100% I am so glad I read it, Saige Parker did a phenomenal job. This was a great book.
