Saige took my heart, twisted and reshaped it and made me love Priest. This Pitch-Black Dark Romance is not for the faint of heart .
I went into this with an open mind and no Trigg3rs and PRIEST almost gave me my first Trigg3r W@rning. He's irredeemable, unhinged, unapologetic for anything and takes and does whatever he wants. This book is TRUE enemi3s to lovers, not the kind that is he or she kind of h@tes each other. They H@TE each other and they want to d3stroy and ruin. These characters are not soft or even kind, but they have depth. Each one has a mission and pushes out anything that tries to get in their way, that is until their paths cross and all H3ll breaks loose. Arlo and Priest want to d3stroy and remove each other from existence, but fate seems to have other plans. You deep dive into the Sovereign universe and it does not let go. The action, drama, trauma, side characters all come crashing in and I realized a few times while reading I had basically held my breath. My emotions were all over with this story. I raged, cried, gasped, laughed and even felt fear on multiple occasions. Watching Priest shift who he was just slightly for her as they were constantly thrust into each other’s lives, but also his conflict about what he had become was intense. Same with Arlo wanting to hate Priest and rightfully so on so many occasions but also finding who she is and what she really wants and needs in this life.
I don't think there are enough words to describe the depth of this book. There is so much pain, heartbreak but also actual heart. Saige poured her whole soul into this story, and I know it couldn't have been easy to write because there were times when it was so hard to read because of the emotions you feel. But that's why we read, right? To FEEL something more and this book does that, but it's not without its w@rnings and trigg3rs.
You must be prepared for this story, because there are parts that will be hard and you will question how you feel about it. But I beg of you, if you start it, you have to finish it to see where it goes and why certain things happened. This is my 3rd Saige book, and it won't be my last. She has quickly become one of my favorite indie authors and I love the universe she has created. I highly recommend this book along with her first Revenge Duet.
Made for D3ath is full of Action and Spice but not everything nice!
Will you take a dive into the Sovereign World?
