I have been dying for these two’s story since we met them in book 1. Brother’s Best Friend. She’s obviously been into him for forEVER, and ooooh the forced proximity goodness was oh so delicious. 😮💨
He doesn’t feel like he’s worthy, plus that pesky little promise me made to her brother.
She’s dealt with some past traumas, but is still the sunshiniest she can be. 🥰
Her best friend status with Brinley was so precious. And her bond with Kai melted my heart with each interaction.
I’m just loving these characters so much, and I’m already intrigued by the little sneak peak of our next couple. 👀
Audiobook notes: DUET Narration! Loooooved Andi Arndt! She was such a fabulous choice for Elena (who is going to be hard to beat for favorite FMC in this series.)
[But, well…I maybe wasn’t the biggest fan of the male narrator. 🫣 I really loved his voice for Trevan, but his voices for all the other male characters just did not work for me. Whenever there was a big scene with all the guys together, I’m not gonna lie, it was a tough listen. 😭 I hate to say that, because when it was just Elena and him, it was perfect, but oof, I feel so bad. 😬]
