Book: Fangs for Nothing by Steffanie Holmes

This really took me by surprise as the last Steffanie Holmes book I read was her Stonehurst Prep Elite series and this is a totally different vibe. This was very much more on the cosy side with plenty of humour and one-liners and I enjoyed the mystery element too.
I liked the premise of a vampire needing a professional organiser to declutter; it totally made sense that vampires would indeed have hundred years worth of stuff after having lived for so long. I found Winnie's reason for becoming an organiser was compelling too as was her relationship with her mum. I thought the use of the text messages was a clever way to show that without it detracting from the other subplots. The side characters in general were all enganging as although the romance between Winnie and Alaric may be the central plot I just loved the characters in the Coven. The group chats had me in stitches (as did the descriptions of Beth's baking) and I'm going to need to check out Mina's series.
It held at a solid three star for me as I felt the ending was a little rushed in comparison to the build to the rest of the book and I was looking for more of an on page final resolution with Claire after everything that happened but also with the business partner. This is largely standalone however, there is a tease at the end which had me adding book two to my TBR straight away! I will also be adding "the rectangle of annoyance" to my vernacular.

3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
