Ugh, I just devoured this book! šā¤ļø The author really knows how to break your heart just to put it back together againā¦ only to turn around and do it all over again. I cried SO many times!
I absolutely loved the whole world the author created. She really captured the vast difference between the wild and the captured dragons, as well as the unique differences between their bonds. It made the world feel so layered and alive, and I loved discovering all of it.
The way Serila and Eradin came together was pure magic and so incredibly heartwarming. š„¹ Their connection had me completely invested, and watching it develop was one of my favorite parts of the story.
I also loved the banter and relationship between Fen and Eradin. It felt so real, especially in the way their relationship progressed over time. It wasnāt instant or forcedāit grew naturally, and I genuinely loved watching that happen.
And thenā¦ THE DOUBLE TWIST AT THE END?! š³ WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?! I was absolutely not prepared. Just when I thought I had things figured out, the author pulled the rug out from under me AGAIN.
I need book 2. Likeā¦ NOW. š Give it to me immediately because I am emotionally invested, slightly unwell, and absolutely not ready to leave this world behind!
