This was my first Arthurian novel and I can not wait for the next part. I found it funny that Vera has only the basic knowledge of the myth, so she’s meeting all these people, seeing all these famous places and so was I while reading about them..
There were a few magic and time travelling inconsistencies and basic explanations, some that get revealed later in the story. You fall in love with the characters quickly. I fell for how friendships are portrayed, especially between Vera and Lancelot. I was happy to avoid the love triangle angle and how the author just went in a completely different direction. I loved the magic angle and can not wait for the next part of the story.
