Love a bit of karma

I loved the out of nowhere ending of book one and couldn't wait to see what Talia was going to do! I really liked how it didn't become a secret between her and the brothers and instead she was honest with them about the fact she needed help. Victor had an answer for everything and it was bleak there for a minute as nothing was going Talia's way. I was absolutely enraged with Gen in this book - I think she may be one of the best (worst) mean girls in this universe second only to Jasmine from the Made For Them series.
I also really liked the relationship between Talia and Tucker - he was definitely being a bit of a hypocrite at points but the sibling dynamic was good fun. Beaty is always welcome too! I was hoping Vaughn might get a look in but Talia is a two man lady; I'm looking forward to his book next!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
