My second Page Powars read this summer and now, my new favorite of his!
Academic rivals, well…at least as far as Rory is concerned. (Luca is pretty clueless…about a lot of things 🤣, but also frustratingly good at everything. 😩) And now they’re at the same ultra-competitive academic summer camp, on opposing teams, and the only logical thing is to try to get Luca to fall in love with him…to like, mess up his game, or whatever. 👀
Pranks (gone wrong!), flirting (oftentimes badly? 🤪), new (maybe?) friends. So many funny moments, and so many cute ones. I loved the overall camp vibes, and had such a fun time listening to this one.
Definitely one of those books that kept a smile on my face the whole time.
Audiobook notes: Joshua Waters was so good! I thought their voice/performance was the perfect fit for Rory, and I loved their performances for all the other characters as well. So good with both the emotional and comedic moments, I was full immersed the entire time. Definitely a great one to listen to on audio!
