Zariah and Denali were each other's firsts as teenagers. In true teenager fashion it fell apart in the most dramatic ways possible. It is shocking how far they both took it. They ended up hurting each other as well as their families.
They met up again in college where Denali has unknowingly befriended Riah's twin brother.
I really enjoyed this story of how they get out of their own way and find the way back to their love for each other. Denali is the sweetest obsessed boy I have seen. Maybe a little stalkery, but only out of love.
I enjoyed the way their love developed again, I thought it was very authentic in its progression.
It had all my favorite things about a hockey romance as well, the team dynamic is a lot of fun.
Overall it was a great new adult/college hockey romance, with a lot of depth of emotion.
