This was a delicious read.
Margo is messy, secretive, and refuses to ask for help. Hayes is a buttoned up, perfectionist, who needs to protect everyone. OF COURSE THEY ARE MEANT FOR ONE ANOTHER.
They are so perfect and wrong for one another that it is a delicious train wreck to watch them fall for one another in this one-night stand, second chance, forced proximity romance.
I love everything about them fighting the pull, denying the chemistry, and lying about everything to each other and to themselves. And isn't it the lies we tell ourselves that bite us in the butt the most??
The drama, the tension, and the stakes around their romance? Pure Brittany Ann brilliance.
