Lethal Attraction had me amazed and completely head over heels! I absolutely loved Thalia. She is a strong, independent, badass assassin with plenty of rough edges and some seriously dark twists. I especially loved how outspoken she was and how she had no problem taking what she wanted. I was really able to connect with her throughout the story.
And then there’s Reed… 🥵 I loved the dynamic between these two. He was completely devoted to Thalia and she was clearly his center, but he still had enough dominance to keep him from feeling too soft. He would change so much for her, but he could still tell her no and take control when she allowed or needed it. Their chemistry was instant, intense, and forbidden, and I was HERE for it.
The gala scene was definitely one of my favorite moments. Without giving anything away, it really showed both sides of Thalia—the badass assassin everyone sees and the softer side she has for Reed. It was such a pivotal moment for me.
The spice was exactly what I wanted. 🌶️ It was enough to keep things exciting without letting the romance take over the plot, and it actually helped build the chemistry between them.
The pacing was spot on. There was always something keeping me on edge, but I never felt like the story was leaving me hanging. I was more along for the ride than trying to figure everything out, but I was still completely invested in seeing how everything would come together.
And that ending… I NEED MORE. I wasn't left with an egregious cliffhanger, but I am absolutely ready to see where this series goes next, especially with the throuple that comes after this book. 👀
If you love dark romance with suspense, strong FMCs, possessive dynamics, spice, and a story that's just plain fun, definitely add this one to your list.
And yes… you might just end up dickmatized. 😏
