And the plot thickens...... Ashborn Raven leaves us with another brutal cliff hanger.....how rude.
This series has had me hooked from the very beginning. This is the 2nd book in the Scattered Souls trilogy and let's just say im itching for the 3rd book to release!
Ellia has gone through so much trauma and turmoil. I find myself having a love hate relationship with her. She expects the guys to all be open and honest with her while she is not with them. I can understand why she holds onto things but it goes both ways.
Jaxon is by far my favorite character in this series. He is fiercely loyal and will do anything and everything to protect not only Ellia but the other guys as well. Does he need to work on opening up and communicating better....yes but I mean who doesn't?
August....sweet, sweet August. He is the typical golden retriever. He just wants to do everything in his power to protect Ellia and make her happy.
Arik I am hit and miss on how I feel about him. I feel like his communication with Ellia is the best out of all the guys. But his communication with the guys is lacking. Im curious to see how his character develops.
Cedar poor guy went through a lot in this book. Having to make hard decisions with relationships to finding out about a deep betrayal by someone he loved. He is such a solid stoic character who had so many hidden talents. I hope to see him open up in the next book.
Lastly Jenkins I love his devotion to Ellia even though he is not one of her "guys". When given the opportunity to step away and be with family he decided to stay.
Really make sure you check the trigger warnings as there are many very difficult topics in this book and your mental health is important.
