I was so caught up in this book that I did not even take notes as I was reading. I think there’s maybe three highlights out of this entire book because I was just so into it. I literally started it in the afternoon and could not stop thinking about it!

This was a thriller that keeps you on your toes literally until the very last page and, in true Steve Cavanagh fashion, you are left in the dark and only given enough context to make guesses but never be sure, even though the characters clearly know what’s going on.

Plus, the multiple POVs make it even more dramatic because you really get a sense of the characters not only from their own inner dialogue but from how other characters see them as well.

This is the 4th Steve Cavanagh book that I’ve read and I truly think that he might be my favorite courtroom thriller author, right up there with Charlie Donlea!

🖤 Thank you to author Steve Cavanagh, publisher Atria Books, and NetGalley for the advanced reader copy! As always, my reviews are honest, my own, and voluntary!
