Thank you to High Gravity Productions for the ARC — this review is my honest opinion.
I was fortunate enough to listen to the Kane's Reckoning audiobook, and I truly enjoyed the story. Hearing about Kane and Annika's romance was super interesting. The story had mystery and romance, accompanied by just a hint of spice. I felt sorry for everything Annika experienced. Their portrayal of her PTSD came across as very authentic. The narration by Grace Grant and Christian Black was really well done. They gave the characters personality and showed their vulnerabilities. I don't typically choose books like this, but the audiobook made the story really captivating. If you enjoy a romance story mixed with mystery and action, I would recommend this audiobook.
