This was a cute read with some cosy elements and some sweet characters. Overall it had a promising premise.
Pandora has returned home in the desperate hope she will discover her magic. It's her last chance to do so after all. If she doesn't, she's doomed to forget about the existence of magic all together.
When magic is released across her small town, she must work with the man who broke her heart, to stop it bring absolute chaos.
Initially, I really felt myself warming to the FMC, and found her likeable. Unfortunately, I was all too soon becoming irritated by her actions and attitude, which was really quite immature for someone knocking on the door of thirty! In that same vein, I never bought into the connection between the two main characters.
With Pandora being the way she was, and Leo being someone I found to be quite loveable with a solid maturity, I could not see them ever being able to stay in the same room for more than a few minutes, let alone having been in a relationship together.
I'm really very sad that I didn't enjoy this book more as the cover are and the synopsis felt really promising.
