Just an ok thriller

Book: Secrets Between Friends by Tracy Buchanan

20 years ago, a teenage boy went missing. Today, while on the verge of losing custody of her teenage daugthers to her cheating ex, Liz's past is coming back to haunt her. When she reuintes with her former best friend after 20 years while delivering the post (she works for the Royal Mail), it's as if no time has passed. But the next time she sees her, Tamsin is practically a different person.
The more time Tamsin is in town, the more Liz thinks that someone is pretending to be her. But for what? Secrets Between Friends was an interesting story, and while I did have my suspicions about where the story was going, there were a few of the twists that did keep me on my toes.
As a whole, I thought this one was just ok. After reading a lot of thrillers, Secrets Between Friends just didn't quite hold my attention, and there are others that I would recommend over this one. But if you're looking for something quick (it's less than 300 pages), it may be a good one to break up some of your other reads.
