I really enjoyed this one! Jonquil was so fiercely strong, she wasn’t going down without a fight and she definitely wasn’t going to fall in love with Edmund! I was actually convinced for a moment that she wouldn’t 😂 But the way they fought along side one another in death. Both had opportunities to take the other out but ended up saving each other instead, fighting to get back.. I just knew there was love brewing!
Both Jonquil and Edmund having to face their fears to defeat the construct was so intense and inspiring and the ending, I sobbed!!
The story was beautifully written, I felt like pacing was just right and the ending wasn’t rushed, it was earned!
