Airabeth by Jojo Bee delivers an imaginative fantasy world built around a powerful idea: the darkest forces do not simply attack the body—they invade the mind.

The Sacred Seven represent Sickness, Cruelty, Warfare, Addiction, Doubt, Fear, and Obedience. They manipulate mortals through destructive thoughts, stripping away their independence and turning them into unfeeling Soulless. I found this concept fascinating and loved the deeper message about protecting your identity, beliefs, and ability to think for yourself.

The story also had some genuinely emotional moments. Sasha’s scene nearly made me cry, especially when he said, “Fight for your dream. Don’t be afraid.” It was heartbreaking, hopeful, and one of the most memorable parts of the book.

A few sections could have flowed more smoothly for me, but the original worldbuilding, emotional stakes, and thought-provoking themes kept me invested. Airabeth is an engaging story about courage, sacrifice, and finding the strength to resist the forces determined to control you.

Thank you to Jojo Bee for the opportunity to read Airabeth!
