Amber, Amber, Amber. I was late coming to your series. I was and I take full responsibility for that. I apologize for sleeping on Gods & Monsters for so long. I’m caught up, I promise. But now… it’s you who owe me the apology. The emotional damage of this book is total and complete. How dare you make me laugh, make me love, make my heart grow three sizes, and then FUCKING STOMP ON IT LIKE I MEAN NOTHING TO YOU. HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME????

Ahem.

I’m sorry. That was a lot, wasn’t it? But um, ma’am. That was not just a cliffhanger that was annihilation. Of my psyche. My well-being. My mental stability. It’s all ashes. (Just like… nope, not going there. I’m not. I can’t.) I refuse to accept they’re gone. You hear me. I have rejected your reality, and I am replacing it with my own where everyone is holding hands and skipping through a field of flowers. And nothing bad ever happens. Especially not what you did to them. ESPECIALLY NOT THAT.

If anyone needs me… don’t. I’ll be a pile of tissues and tears in the corner for 2-4 business days while I attempt to recover from the murdering of all that I hold dear in my fictional world. THANKS AMBER.

All the tissue boxes for this one. I will never, ever, ever emotionally recover from this book. Never.
