I went into Seek The Traitor's Son by Veronica Roth, full of excitement. The cover art alone filled me with hope of an exciting and hopefully different read.
All too soon, I'm afraid I found my attention wavering and ultimately losing my way with the plot. For me there was a good deal that was relatable to our world and ways but with the fantasy elements vying for their own space, the two sides just didn't feel cohesive.
The plot itself was interesting and it had enough to it that I carried on through to the end of the book.
I really, really wanted to love this book, but it didn't deliver enough for that to happen. I struggled to find relatable qualities with the characters, and overall, I just wanted, well... more.
