This mafia style dark romance has such an unique universe and is <b>🌶️spicy🌶️</i>. I already discovered this world but the deeper gleams into the Talons and their traditions was so interesting. I would not mind learning more about them! The other Talons kept some mysteries to themself which <i>I hope</i> we will see in the following books.
I had some trouble getting attached to the characters as I found Saylor a bit childish and Axl's duality felt a bit forced. Because of this, the book felt too long at times. The romance follows quite a fast pace but the book is chunky (+500 pages).
