I loved Sage’s strength, the found-family dynamic, and the distinctive personalities within the group. Milo was my favorite because he was a little chaotic and a whole lot dark. He brought humor to the story without ever letting me forget how dangerous he could be.
Eve Riche’s writing balanced dark suspense, emotional vulnerability, banter, romance, and spice. The multiple points of view made the characters feel distinctive, while the mystery kept me turning the pages.
What We Bury ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger! I cannot wait for What We Burn because I need to know what happens next.
