I loved how music was used in this book!

Book: Studio City Songs by Zaide Williams

Rating: 4/5

I liked how the story of Jack and Munie was told through the third person style of storytelling as well as through interviews and texts. Using songs in the chapters and their titles used as the chapter titles just added to the whole vibe of the book. I also liked Jack’s and Munie’s chemistry and banter. I appreciated that the book was pretty brief at 175 pages. In my very humble opinion, it felt like just the right length to feel the intensity of all their feelings as well as feel thrilled when pieces started falling into place because you were genuinely happy for them. I’m a mood reader, so being emotionally attached to and wanting what’s best for characters in a book are important to me. I felt that in this book. Studio City Songs is a 4 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me.
