To be honest, I had a bit of a struggle getting into this one at first as characters were being introduced and the world was being built. I can’t even really put my finger on why that was, but what I can put a finger on is the reason why I’m glad I kept going! It was around chapter 10 that I became enthralled by what all was happening. It’s like a switch was turned on, and then, I would get frustrated when I had to put the book down! There was so much drama and action, a love story, magik, and a cliffhanger. Seriously, even if you experience the first part as I did, I ask you to keep going as I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
