Okay, I'm a couple days late on getting this review out. I apologize about that.
But Alaya, WTF?! How could you end it right there?? And then immediately be like "oops, i did that. sorry." That's not enough! You literally build us up, just to tear us down in the last page. I need book two like, RIGHT NOW.
Feralheart is a wonderful story. The characters, the lore, the DRAGONS. Ugh, I love everything that Alaya Wells writes. She has a way with making you feel comfortable in her writing. Her characters are likeable, and some are the perfect amount of disdain. I tend to jump from book to book when reading, so I'll sometimes have a hard time transitioning to new worlds. But Alaya makes it seem like I have always known the worlds she writes.
I did receive an ARC of Feralheart, thank you, Alaya Wells. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
If you like trials, dragons, secret magic, bonds galore, and betrayal, then Feralheart is the book for you. I cannot recommend it enough. Although, just be warned that when you get to the end, you're going to scream at Alaya as well. There's nothing I can do about that except say "Welcome to the club. We have cookies."
