This book is a perfect blend of late 90s/early 2000s sitcom vibes and cozy romance. Plus, it has a super hot, greenest of flags demon. There isn’t too much more you can ask for in a book.
I had so much fun reading this book. Despite the general lightness in tone, Kennedy Rhodes does an excellent job of weaving in character depth and struggles.
The characters also really come to life on the pages. Eva reminds me so much of my little sister. Oh, and did I mention? Hot. Demon. Just want to underscore that because Sorren is an absolute gem with his flirty nature and slutty little glasses.
There are also several spicy scenes that had me giggling and kicking my feet (which my cats were only slightly judgmental about).
Anyone looking for a fun, sweet, cozy read will love this book! It’s perfect to pick up during spooky season (or really any time).
