Wow! I don't think a book has kept me up until 4 am in a while, but Apex Elite Academy sucked me right in, and before I knew it, my husband was grumbling at me for still being awake lol I absolutely ATE it right up.
It was fast-paced, and there was never a dull moment when I wanted to skim through. Even when the timeline sped up, things made sense, and I never felt left in the dark.
I absolutely LOVE our FMC Rune. She is strong, capable, sassy, and a bit unhinged, and I will devour those qualities every single time. I think she's got a fairly good head on her shoulders, but I am worried that she will jump into the wrong danger to save someone one day.
Our MMCs all have unique qualities, and I don't have any major issues with any of them. Super curious which bond will snap first - also really worried something is blocking her bonds...
Aura is suspicious AF - that is all lol
Cannot wait to continue with book two. I feel so honored to have been on Lyra's team <3
