Jack and Dimitri were beyond adorable!
Hollow was such a sweet, cozy romance (aside from the casual slaughter and the demon dog). The idea of a cryptid pretending to be a cosplay content creator had me cracking up, and I absolutely loved Jack Whoa Lantern’s chat.
Astaroth (the demon dog) was absolutely hilarious. I have so many of his quotes highlighted, though my favorite might just be, “easy peasy lemons are sleezy.”
While Dimitri and Jack meet under sad circumstances, it was wonderful to watch Dimitri reconnect with nature. I loved the banter between Dimitri and Jack, especially when Jack was catching Dimitri up on everything he missed while in captivity. And I loved that, despite their differences, their connection felt easy from the beginning.
Hollow was a creative mix of different legends and an absolute joy to read.
