This was such a fun and cute read. I finished it in less than 24 hours. Thank you Hambright PR for the ARC/ ALC.
I absolutely love immersive reading and that was the perfect way to read those story. Jason Clarke and Callie Dalton did such an amazing job bringing the Elliot and Emelia alive, plus we had a full cast for the side characters as well. I highly recommend doing this book on the audio.
In this book you meet Elliot who is a single farther to an amazingly sweet little girl Baylor and they live in the small town down Echo Lake. Then enter in Emelia who comes to town for the development company she works for to pitch a development idea to the town. Elliot is not a fan of anyone coming in and developing in the town, so he not a fan when he meets Emelia. Then he finds out she is the one who is renting out the bunkie on this property for 3 months.
While staying in the bunkie one night there is a terrible storm that causes a tree to fall onto the bunkie and so Emelia has to move into the main house with Elliot and Baylor and that’s when things start to heat up. The TENSION between the two is AMAZING. I also loved though the relationship that these two had with each other and the character development we got from both of them.
I can’t wait to see whose story we get next in the series!!
