Thank you to M.A. DeVant for the ARC — this review is my honest opinion.

The story of His Cruel Exception focuses on Alex and Antonio, with Antonio being a mob prince who runs into Alex while Alex's trying to land a job at a strip club. As soon as he saw Alex, he was totally obsessed. I really enjoyed this book. Once I started reading it, I just couldn't put it down. I enjoy how Antonio's character was full of chaos and marked by a strong obsession.. The relationship he shared with Alex was both dysfunctional and endearing in its own way. The story contained action, comedy, and a great deal of spice throughout the book. I found Antonio's cousins to be a major element in this book, and I am excited to keep reading to learn more about their characters. This was a great read. For those who love MM dark romance, I highly recommend this book.
