@montanafyre_author has done it again! This second book of the Lombardi Legacy series did not disappoint!
This was everything I hoped it was going to be: mafia, danger, secrets, and a budding why choose harem (not everyone is on board yet but I'm sure we'll get there in book 3)! We've got an unhinged bodyguard that is tattooed everywhere (yes there too!), a pair of mafia brothers, and a much older protector who came out of absolute nowhere and made my day so much better. Hello, age gap!
The pacing was perfection! There weren't any dull moments. You get incredible tension, a fun threesome (fingers crossed and manifesting that spicy fivesome for book 3! Do not let me down Montana!), top-tier banter, and actual character growth. There wasn't much in terms of kinks (unless you count mild degradation and slight praise) but I don't think this is the kind of book for that and I wasn't missing it too much. I'm hoping book 3 will be at least 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🫣
Book 3 is coming out soon, and I am already counting down the days!!
