Woah, okey, this book was so, so disappointing...
Self-confessed coffee addict and food writer Madison has convinced herself she belongs in NYC. But then she’s called back to the small town of Maple Falls to save her childhood home, The Cinnamon Spice Inn. She’s NOT looking forward to seeing her ex, Zach—now a sexy bearded handyman who knows exactly how to push her buttons. But she won’t let anything distract her from the inn’s relaunch… right?
I was so excited about the Autumn vibes! I love Autumn with my whole heart! The vibes around this book were so nice and fun! It is your typical fun cute and cozy small town with autumn vibes Inn!
You would say that would make the book great right? No it didn't sadly, the couple was written very disappointing! Maybe its the second chance that i dislike, ans the fact that this was tagged as enemies to lovers? Because it isn't, Madison Pines over Zach from the first second she sees him and so does Zach over Madison!
And then let me talk about the miscommunication!? They didn't see each other for years that could have been cleared up within a minute!? I got so irritated with the pining over each other and the miscommunication. Honestly i could skip some pages and i didnt miss anything!
The spice was just too much, not wanting to talk to each other while pining over each other every second of the book and oh another spice scene and another and another! It honestly ruled over the cozy Autumn vibes this book should have and that was such a shame...
This book just wasn't it for me at all, but if you like two characters pining over each other and second chance childhood lovers with a cozy autumn inn then this is for you!
