Piper Rayne has done it again! 👏 I loved this story! It made me all gooey and melty 🫠
My heart broke for Collins 💔 She went through so much and it was all just compounding! Her grief took a long time to process, but there is no timeline for grief. As more truths were uncovered, she became more devastated, but Ansel was there to catch her.
I absolutely LOVED Ansel! He is such a green flag and the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST MMC I've read in a very long time! He was literally just always there to lean on, and whenever she needed someone, he was there. I could feel their grief for the loss of Caleb, but also the underlying tension and yearning for more when they started to hang out after his passing. He never wavered in his absolute certainty that he would go places and do things with Collins even before their relationship grew and eventually became more.
Connor Crais and Maxine Mitchell knocked it out the park! A phenomenal performance that had you feeling every single emotion with both characters as they navigated their grief, the undeniable truths and their emotional connection.
A beautiful story of love, loss and finding something new with someone else.
