Book: Strangers in Time by David Baldacci

If it's possible for a book to be both heartbreaking and heartwarming, this one is. It's my first book by this author, but I'm a big fan of anything related to WWII or London.
The main characters in this story are a bookstore owner, recently widowed, and a pair of teens from opposite ends of the socioeconomic spectrum. Set during the London Blitz, it's the tale of three unlikely friends helping one another through a devastating time in their lives.
This book is very descriptive with lots of world building (the likes of which you'd normally see in fantasy). I didn't hate it, but I personally enjoyed it. This is a book for those who love a character-driven story. I've learned it's a departure from the usual novels the author writes, and have heard great things about the audiobook as well.
