5⭐ 4🌶️ ABSOLUTE GOLD!! This was my first foray into the writings of both Emily Antoinette and Kass O'Shire. I am now OBSESSED!!! The spice was spicy in all the right ways. But the chemistry, the yearn is just pure chefs kiss. Thank you both for letting me be an early reader for this masterpiece! If this ever becomes an audiobook, I will lose my mind!
Henry is the goodest!
Fae is a great friend!
Tom is the ABSOLUTE worst and we hate him!
We start with Ada, who is still reeling with PTSD after a mugging from the last time she traveled. Now she stays safe and secure in her home or at least she thinks she does. Seth, the monster of her nightmares is so much more. He has begun to yearn for Ada's dreams and wants to make her feel joy again. Ada begins to think she is losing her mind but is pleasantly surprised at the developments of said mythical/magical being that is now corporeal in her world. Again, the spice is top tier!
Heavy topics are addressed and there is some traumatic moments, but this book was able to balance perfectly and actually had me almost to the point of tears.
10/10 will read again! (of course with my doggo beside me)
