Fearlessly Us by Samantha Brinn
⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5)
The moment Drew labeled himself as unable to commit because he was always left behind, I knew I was a goner. I am such a sucker for the man who is sunshine on the outside and wounded on the inside, and he absolutely delivers. Drew is the ultimate Acts of Service (my love language!) man. He is always there for everyone around him, be it Caitlin or his BFFs Cam and Tyler. He gives all of himself despite thinking he isn't enough. Spoiler alert: he totally is.
Caitlin reminded me so much of her aunt, Julie. She is the woman who always has a ten-step plan and at least one backup to fix any issue. She has hidden her debilitating endometriosis from everyone around her, trying to shoulder everything alone. As a parent, that absolutely broke my heart. As a woman, it angered me that she went so long without doctors taking her seriously. She is stronger than she should have to be, and when she finally let Drew in, I may have given a little cheer. Out loud.
I love Drew and Caitlin together. They are truly puzzle pieces who fit together perfectly. The way they support each other and can finally be vulnerable with another person was so healing. And the chemistry between them? ABSOLUTELY FIRE. The mouth on Drew! I was definitely fanning myself.
Once again, Samantha Brinn has proven why she is an auto-read author. Her ability to craft romances that are heartfelt, hilarious, and full of heat means every book is a touchdown.
Thank you to the author and The Smuthood for providing an ARC.
