I’m obsessed with Rebecca Jenshak’s books, and Keeping Score delivered exactly what I expect—sweet, sexy, emotional goodness with characters who stay with me long after I finish.
I already adored Travis in Lucky Shot , but this book cemented him as a top-tier book boyfriend (or husband). He is genuinely the sweetest, most attentive, most loving man alive. The fact that he wasn’t wifed up before Hannah is baffling, but honestly…I’m glad, because she is PERFECT for him.
Hannah has carried so much since losing her parents, and watching Travis not only support her but actively try to lighten her load absolutely melted me. From packing her lunch every day to getting her Jeep fixed, he shows her—constantly—how loved she is.
And the dual-athlete angle? Perfection. Gymnastics is wildly underrated in romance, so seeing it here was such a win. My heart sobbed when Travis acknowledged that Hannah is every bit the athlete he is. It sounds obvious—she’s literally chasing the Olympics—but women athletes get dismissed far too often.
If you love sports romance with heart, humor, and a hero who knows exactly what he wants, this one needs to be at the top of your TBR.
