Book: Veiled Court by C.N. Crawford

I received this book as an ARC for free in return for my honest review. I was not paid, these are my own thoughts & opinions.

Going in, I was slightly worried that since I had not read Avalon Tower that this would be lost on me. But I'm glad to say that it wasn't! There are some things I'm sure would make far more sense or be "oooh" or "hey i know this!" moments, but all in all I understood pretty well.

The vibes of Veiled Court are quite different from the vibes of Frost & Ambrosia. It absolutely makes me want to go back and read Avalon Tower (it IS on my NETBR).

I definitely enjoyed the story more once they were out of London. It's not a super fast paced book, but it's also not super slow. To me, its perfect. I love the building up.

A couple of moments were predictable, but in a good way. Others I didn't expect. By the end of the book it felt like I was hanging on by a thread. I think Crawford has done got a fantastic story so far, and I can't wait to read the rest of it.

Thank you to TheNerdFam for the eARC!
