This book had me in a chokehold!! I absolutely devoured this!! I loved our FMC- Arden! She is fierce in a stubborn quiet way. She overcomes so many obstacles throughout her journey - grief, loss and be ostracized from everyone. And Bishop- swoon worthy! He has his own secrets and reasons. The chemistry and push and pull between them felt natural and not forced. Every time I thought I knew what was happening and why- the plot twisted again and just never stopped! The side characters and found family were just as lovable. This book is the entire package. Magic from the stars, rituals, forbidden love, murder mysteries and yearning!! The ending was quite the unexpected cliffhanger! Will totally be reading the rest of this series!!
