First of all, I loved this book. If work and sleep hadn't gotten in the way I would have finished it in one sitting. I loved watching how Brie developed through the story and learned to trust Sawyer. Sawyer going to therapy and growing as a person and using emotional regulation strategies made my heart happy because it beats angry man learning to love any day. He fixed himself before he even knew he had a change with Brie. The way she let her sisters back into her life and worked through her trauma with them melted my heart. Gia pulling out the mom look and not leaving Brie anywhere to run was perfection. Overall I loved every minute of this book! I cannot wait to read the next book!

Favorite quote: “Sometimes I think we needed the bad to make the good so great. Besides,” she adds, pulling back and pointing to my crotch, “there are no mistakes. Just happy accidents. I think the picture we’re painting together is beautiful.”
