This is the second in the Outbreak Response Series. These books are standalone but interconnected. This story follows Leon and Clair who even in this apocalyptic world pined for each other. Through love all is possible! I am lost for words, but OMG was this book amazing. The first book was amazing, but this one was so much better. I also love how Leon showed his love for Clair and never pressured her or Poppy. This book had me staying up until 3am reading because I just couldn't stop. I was grossed out in the best way with how descriptive Lindsey was during the cannibal scene and how you can picture everything in vivid detail. The cliffhanger has me dying for more. Next October cannot come soon enough!
