Dani and Alec grew up spending a month each summer as best friends. That ended five years ago, with both believing the other had ghosted them. Now, Dani and her mother have moved to Southview permanently and Alec is a hockey legend at their high school. Told in alternating POVs, this is a fun YA rom com with fake dating, sports and family drama all rolled into one. Lynn Painter is one of my favorites for a reason- her stories are engrossing and her characters are fully developed with tons of banter. This was a great read I couldn't put down. I'll read anything Lynn Painter writes!
