I love a good fairy tale retelling, and this fresh take on The Frog Prince was So good! Barakah took those familiar pieces and roots of the tale and turned them into something completely her own.
The world pulled me in right away, and I loved the darker magic, the promises, and the dance aspect woven into Anai's story.
Honestly, two books in and she's already an auto buy for me. Barakah just hasn't miss!
