This is the final book, which tells the story of Billie and Ryder, in the Lucky River Ranch series. These two have known each other since childhood and have developed a friendship full of tension. Billie is struggling to find happiness because she is unhappy in her job but she feels obligated to continue working at her family’s ranch, while Ryder has closed himself off from everyone due to a childhood trauma. They become each other’s safe place.
Billie is definitely a spitfire and the banter between her and Ryder is laugh out loud funny. Who knew that a cowboy could bound with a gal over Taylor Swift’s music! This is a brother’s best friend, friends to lovers, heartwarming romance! Don’t get me wrong, the spice is spicing!
Great story! Great Characters! Great read!
Oh! And be sure you get the bonus epilogue!! It’s so good!!
