Great story with some themes that hit a little close to home in today's political climate, but that's what makes it so emotional and such a great read.
I loved the MFC's spirit and sense of doing what's right. The 2nd half of the book has me saying "WTF?!?" at least once every chapter because there was so much going on that made me mad, sad, and confused (in a good way).
The MMC is complicated. I hated him as much as I loved him. (Well maybe not as much, I loved him more, but he was part of the reason I was "wtf?!?"-ing the last half of the book. )
There's so much more to this story that has yet to be revealed and of course it ends on an illegal cliff hanger!
I'm so excited for the 2nd book to be announced!
