While I have learned about the "Blue-Skinned-People" before, I never heard of the Kentucky Packhorse Program - which I found absolutely intriguing to say the least. The ability to overcome adversity has occured for centuries, but to keep going with your passion to educate others, despite the world against you - always hits my heart and my feelings. I struggled in the middle of the book as it felt it was drawn out a little too much, but I enjoyed the story as whole.
